The New Orleans Bar Association named Gauthier, Houghtaling and Williams its Pacesetter Campaign Winner for recruiting the most newly-enrolled and renewed members of any other firm. 100% of the firm's attorneys signed up as members of the Association.
The law firm of Gauthier, Houghtaling and Williams successfully mediated the wind claims of eight Baptist churches in Galveston which were heavily damaged by Hurricane Ike.
On January 7, 2009, the New Orleans City Council voted unanimously to appoint Jennifer M. Medley to serve on the Board of Directors of the City’s Municipal Yacht Harbor Management Corporation.
