John Houghtaling and Chef Scott Boswell of Stella! appeared on WVUE on August 20 to promote a September 14 barrier island fundraising dinner featuring world-renowned chefs Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud and Jerome Bocuse. Sean Greenwood

Sean Greenwood has almost 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer focused on commercial litigation and personal injury cases. His experience in commercial litigation relates primarily to the mortgage and banking industries and securities litigation and arbitration. He also represents many clients who were injured by vaccines.

Mr. Greenwood was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates in only his second year of practice for a jury verdict exceeding $1.7 million. His success led to him being voted by his peers as one of the top 8 commercial litigation attorneys in Houston Magazine. He has represented customers and employees against major brokerage firms and has been successful in obtaining awards for his clients who were victims of fraud and negligence. He worked jointly with John O'Quinn prosecuting financing entities, broker-dealers, market makers, clearing firms and individuals responsible for destroying companies by manipulating their stock.

Mr. Greenwood earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications at the University of Texas and a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, where he received The Order of the Coif and Order of the Barons. He was also inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. He received an “AV” rating in Martindale-Hubbell.

He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1991, the State Bar of New York in 2006 and the United States Court of Federal Claims in 2005. His other professional affiliations include the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas, 1991; United States District Court, Southern District of Texas, 1991; and United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas, 1991. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association-Litigation Section; American Bar Association-Business Torts Committee; and the American and Texas Trial Lawyers Associations.

Mr. Greenwood and his wife, Carla, have been married for 2 years. Mr. Greenwood has two daughters, ages 9 and 10.
