James Carlos Canady concentrates his practice on civil litigation, with a specific emphasis on catastrophic personal injuries, 18 wheeler accidents, plant explosions, product liability claims and bad faith hurricane insurance claims.
Carlos earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from University of Houston.
After graduating from law school Carlos was one of 23 applicants selected out of 2,500 applicants to serve as a intern with the National Football League at their headquarters in New York. Carlos worked as an intern in the Management Council which oversees the NFL Collective bargaining Agreement with the Players Union.
Carlos was formerly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served as a infantry rifleman and in the security forces in Panama City, Panama. He received a meritorious promotion and was honorably discharged.
Carlos was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and the US District Court Southern District in 2002. He is the loving husband of Jaimi Canady and the proud father of Carrson Jacob Canady.
